At The Musketeers, we believe in adventure, inclusivity, and the power of community.

We provide exciting outdoor and hands-on experiences for adults with additional needs—whether it’s hiking through scenic trails, casting a fishing line into the water, or crafting something special in a woodworking session.

This blog is a space where we’ll share our latest adventures, inspiring stories, tips, and updates on everything happening at The Musketeers. Whether you're a participant, family member, supporter, or just someone who shares our passion for the great outdoors and meaningful activities, we invite you to join us on this journey.

The Musketeers’ Second Open Day – A Day of Growth and Adventure

This weekend, we welcomed a fantastic group of people to our second open day, and what a day it was!

Meeting new faces, catching up with familiar ones, and watching everyone dive into the activities reminded us exactly why we started The Musketeers.

One moment, in particular, stood out—a young man who arrived a little unsure but, by the end of the session, was brimming with confidence. Whether it was getting stuck into a hands-on activity or simply being in an environment where he felt encouraged, the transformation was incredible to see. Moments like this remind us why The Musketeers exists—to create a space where young adults with additional needs can try new things, build confidence, and most importantly, have fun.

Thank you to everyone who joined us! Your energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to get involved make all of this worthwhile. We can’t wait to see you at our next adventure!

The Musketeers First Open Day
A Fantastic Start to Our Adventure!

This past Saturday, 1st March 2025, marked a huge milestone for The Musketeers – our very first open day!

And what a day it was! We were thrilled to welcome so many wonderful people who share our passion for adventure, independence, and hands-on experiences.

From the moment the doors opened, the room buzzed with excitement. We met new faces, shared stories, and introduced everyone to what The Musketeers is all about. It was inspiring to see so many people come together with a shared goal – to create a community where adults with learning disabilities can explore new skills, enjoy the great outdoors, and most importantly, have fun.

Throughout the day, we showcased some of the exciting activities we have planned, from woodworking and fishing to hiking and team challenges. We loved hearing your ideas too – your enthusiasm and creativity will help shape The Musketeers into something truly special.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, shared their experiences, and made the day so memorable. It was fantastic to see families, friends, and future Musketeers getting involved, asking questions, and showing their support. Your energy and enthusiasm confirm why we started this journey in the first place.

If you couldn’t make it, don’t worry! This is just the beginning. We have plenty more exciting events, adventures, and opportunities to get involved. Stay tuned for upcoming sessions, and if you’re interested in joining us or learning more, get in touch – we’d love to hear from you!
